  1. I worked with Hasselblad – Sinar 4×5 inch etc as a international advertising photographer, retired now πŸ™‚ and happy with my Fujifilm X-T5

  2. …..disregard the price tag ? Silly idea…..my bank account just can’t ! While I had Hasselblad in the past, I just cannot afford anything Hasselblad today so it is not a matter of “disregard”.

    1. @@henlolneh how about a Hasselblad 907X review πŸ˜‰ Check that feed ;))))

  3. Would be cool to see your take on landscape photography. Doesn’t have to be the Hasselblad – could be your standard gear, but in a different setting outside the city streets.

  4. Crazy how because, even though it’s on a big monitor, I’m watching this in a YouTube videos, unless you’re showing the close crops, the images still look the same as your APSC Fujifilm stuff. And that’s probably more of a compliment of your style rather than a criticism of the camera.

    1. interesting you bring this up because it is how i also felt viewing the shots from the x2d in this video. with that being said, when i watch other youtubers who have specifically reviewed the fuji gfx line, the shots they present from the medium format fuji bodies seem to scream “medium format!!” whilst these x2d shots are a lot more difficult to tell what type of sensor said shots were taken on.

  5. I am a 15 year long Leica fanboy (M11, SL3, …), but I acquired this X2D-100 and a couple of lenses and it is my preferred camera now. Insane image quality and colors.

  6. What did you think about the lens for street photography? The XCD 2.5/55V lens you used is a 43mm equivalent and weighs 372g. I would be interested in your opinion on whether you felt like the 55V was too tight for street photography. The XCD 4/45P is smaller and lighter with a 35mm equivalent field of view, and the XCD 2.5/38V is even wider at 30mm equivalent.

  7. Such a sick camera – I’d love to get my hands on one. For me it’s the 16-bit colour and the much larger sensor that appeal to me most. It doesn’t appeal to my wallet though πŸ˜… Great video as always bud!

  8. I don’t understand why they sent this camera to someone that is primarily a street photographer. The ideal user for this camera would be for in studio work and / or landscape photography.

The price tag is also not in the realm of “most” peoples budget.

I think they make a fine product but it is a luxury item that is for a specific end user.

I think most street photographers are not going to want to carry around a large camera, risk being robbed and do not likely need such large files.

I still like your channel and find your videos informative.

I think the manufacturer missed the mark / target audience of your subscribers.

  9. I love Hasselblad’s design language, all modern cameras should look that sleek.

  10. As much as I love Faizal’s videos, (and this isn’t a dig against him) but starting to just get tired of companies paying/shipping cameras to influencer just to review. Seen about 5 videos with this Hassie and they’re all “raving” about the camera as they have to

  11. It seems to me, that this camera shows more details and contrast. Specially in the clothing(fabrics). That results in more texture visible and different shimmering. And the coloring is on its own. That can make you look different and at extra layers to your street photography. Example the b&w picture with the lady with the long knit.

  12. Im not sure when it happened but it seems you gained some confidence when you speak to the camera now vs your older more moody videos. I like it

  13. The camera is so beautifully made and feels so good when you hold itπŸ˜…. But the problem is, that in todays world, where we mostly view photography on a tiny screen, one can’t see if a pic was taken with a smartphone, an APS-C camera, a fullframe camera or a medium format camera … unless it’s a portrait. If I would be into professional fashion-, product- or portrait-photography, I would probably think about buying this camera or the GFX 100 II from Fuji. But as a mere hobbyist who shoots street and travel, I need something small, light and unobtrusive. So, given all this, the X2D still is a wonderful camera, but for my use case it’s total overkill. Anyway, thanks for the nice videoπŸ˜‰πŸ‘!

  14. awesome as always! curious that you haven’t shot with a GFX body as of yet
