30 Minutes of Photography in Spain's Biggest Street Market
-> Get Paid To Take Photos <-
Hey Faizal! I’d love to connect while you’re in Japan this year! I’m a street photographer based in Japan and I’d love to show you around some great spots!
I’m planning to do a casual meet up while I’m in Tokyo! I’ll share the details when it’s all planned out π
I’m curious what Spain looked like for street photography, I’m Spanish and I see you in the videos in many places around the world, I’m probably very used to it here, what do you think?
I don’t get very excited of new videos from creators that I have subbed to however you are the exception. You got me into photography a year or so ago and I haven’t looked back since. You even sold me on getting a Fujfiilm as my first camera! Thank you for the videos! They are a great inspiration.
Hey everyone. So this video is a bit experimental as it’s a much longer form video. Would love to hear from you guys any feedback on it and what I could change or do better next time, or if you would prefer shorter videos. Thanks!
wonderful market
Welcome to Spain Faizal, and I hope enjoyed the Rastro and the streets of Madriz (d). Regards
At 16:12 you was in front of the biggest camera shops in Madrid, FOTOCASION. Looking at your videos in Madrid, I’m afraid you have missed very ‘street photography’ places apart from El Rastro and Latina π
I am from Spain, Sevilla, but I usually visit Madrid when I was living in Spain. El rastro was an obligate visit if I was there during the weeekend. You have registered the ambient so well. I love heard the sound and the conversations around your walk. I hope that you enjoyed your days there. π
Did you leave your ND filter on with all the changing light and harsh shadows in some areas?
No ND on the Fuji
Love how you finished the video with letting us just experience the crowds, adding music to immerse us into the scene. Your music choices are always so great. Nice job Faisal. Love it.
I’m only about halfway but I love the video so far dude. Quick question: are you holding the DJI in one hand and shooting with the other? Wondering how that affects your shooting experience? Maybe you’ve adapted or sacrifice two hands for the sake of a video, seems tough though! Well done nonetheless. The fact I even have to ask is a sign that it looks natural
Thanks man! Yeah, osmo in my left, Fuji in my right. Itβs not the best experience Iβll be honest. Looking into possibly getting a chest mount setup soon
Watched the whole thing. As far as feedback goes I personally really enjoy this POV format. However it might have helped to have some sort of break in the middle, like a coffee shop or something, to let the attention rest for a moment. While it was super cool to experience this market from a photographers perspective, maybe it is just too busy and hectic for a video as long as this for most people. Love what you’re doing and that you’re trying new things! Also I liked the mirror photographs, but my favourite has to be the old guy with the frames on the wall. Super unique π
Thanks for taking us along
Street markets provide wonderful opportunities for photography. The mirror and window reflections are IMHO most interesting. I found this video to be too long. For me, it would be more interesting to shorten it and use clips that describe your thoughts, technique and then show several images from that portion of the shoot – example is the paintings on the wall when you captured the subject between paintings. I also enjoyed seeing images displayed in color and B&W. As always, I enjoy your videos and willingness to share your talent. Thank you.
Love the 30+mins format. By the way, hope you will publish a photo zine for your upcoming Japan trip. Cheers.
I plan to!!
Oh my GOD that flea market is to die for ! π₯Ί I want to go there every day
quite bold carrying around a osmopocket one handed in madrid while having a strapless body on the other, props to you my friend
You canβt see the camera strap literally around my wrist?
@@FaizalWestcottmy bad, got mistaken with the end of your coat
I love “El rastro”, I lived there many years ago and it is super cool
Loving the long form content of just walking around taking videos! Hope to see more of this, its cool watching how you go about taking photos and how certain things catch your eye
I do like the longer pov format. This was a perfect length. I like it
Probably need to use a Ricoh GR IIIx in Marrakesh
