  1. Hei Faizal! Your shooting locations are so beautiful! How did you confirm where you were going? Search the featured locations through the internet first? Or a random stroll through downtown?

    1. I did a little research Through books and recommendations. Mostly just exploring the city though!

  2. Faisal….love watching your videos…its like a calm break in the middle of a long work day.

  3. Really enjoyed this video. I’ve recently returned from a trip to Lisbon and loved the place. Thanks.

  4. You should do a second video in Lisbon, I mean, there’s so much more to explore! I’m bias cause it’s my city but damn, its beautiful!

    1. The miradouros in Lisbon like são Pedro de Alcântara or Adamastor are worth passing by. The 28 electric car also if you have time, The neighborhood Alfama is a wonderful labyrinth to explore and so on…enjoy the trip!

  5. Thank you so much for sharing your work! Loved to see my hometown from your perspective! Please, do share more videos!

  6. It makes me happy seeing someone truly liking my city and this photos, it makes me appreciate where I live

  7. Dude I love your videos. They’ve inspired me to start doing some photography of my own. I recently bought a Canon m200 just for my first ever camera. But I just can’t get to the point of actually shooting PEOPLE. I don’t know what it is but when I bring the camera up to my face I suddenly feel the gaze of everyone around me like I just made eye contact with the whole block. How is it that I feel more exposed behind the lens? How do you deal with that? Or is it just experience?

    1. I know what you mean! You overcome that through experience, but there are some ways to work around it like the popular fishing technique. So instead of seeing a person and photographing them, you pick out a scene, frame up your camera, and allow people to pass through the photo youve already set up. You wont raise any attention to yourself because you’ve already raised up your camera! People will also not think you’re photographing them

  8. Hi Faizal, its so nice to see my home town being so well portrayed by you.
It is a beautiful, enjoyable and safe city to visit. You have fun and please keep posting!
By the way, Portugal is not just Lisboa, if you can go visit Sintra (metropolitan area of Lisbon) or catch a bus to Évora (1h30m trip) in Alentejo (different region) to see something different but still amazing.
    All the best to you

    1. Thanks Andre! We were mostly in Lisbon during the two weeks but we did manage to go to Sintra for a day! That was a very beautiful place

    2. @Faizal Westcott you are more than welcome, I truly appreciate that my city and country are being discovered in a photographic way. Altough a small country compared to the US, the diversity of scenery as you travel around is huge.
Every city is completly different, and if you have the chance in the future I would most defintly recomend you to go visit Porto, our second biggest city and you would get the contrast between our major cities.
All the best to you, and please let us know when you are back in Lisbon.

  9. Love the videos, so relaxing and encourages me to get out and about 👍🏻

  10. Beautiful! I have some of the same shots from my two weeks in Lisbon in 2016. Love that city. Thank you.

  11. Lovely streets of Lisaboa. Wonderful alleyways to wander up. Love also pastel de nata.

  12. It feels so strange to recognise all those places. Never thought I’ll miss Lisbon so much. Thank you for this video!

  13. Love your videos and seeing things through your eyes. This makes me want to return to Lisbon again too.

  14. Having just come back from Lisbon I loved this POV and “re-seeing” the city through your eyes and camera. Well done Faizal! I agree that there’s plenty of texture in the city, the architecture is so ornate and it’s very different than most American cities

  15. Very engaging and awesome perspectives! So cool to see your trip in Lisbon and that Pastel de nata looks sooo good… sorry if I butchered the spelling. The photos too are superb

  16. Loved the comment “the city is so hilly”. Lisbon actually has the nickname of “city of the 7 hills”. Glad you liked the city and the video is really nice.

  17. I just love your photos of Lisboa! I hope you enjoyed your Peshtel de Nata! I’ve been living in Porto for 2 years now and you gave me plenty of new ideas for my photos! Thank you 😍😘
