  1. im going to vietnam/singapore in a few days. does the humidity make handling camera gear a bit trickier?

    1. @Caballeroshot  true. guess im worried about my expensive lenses getting any kind of moisture in them. people obviously do photography in south east asia so maybe it’s not a problem.

    2. @ I would let your gear get acclimated to the temperature if you’re in air conditioned space. You can also invest in those dry packs that come in new products to help your gear stay dry when you store it.

  2. For my photo style, it will be so hard to take a good photo in a place like Vietnam

    1. @@MelikAlperen i totally understand. Vitenam may be great for people whose style is really dynamic. Mine is kinda quite. I am only drawn to things that can soothe my nerves.

  3. What camera are you using for recording the video? I assume it’s a GoPro?

  4. Those low tents, tight alleys, and vivid colors…I wouldn’t have a clue where to point the camera LOL

  5. These videos are treasures. Will be watching them back with my grandkids one day.

  6. I’m curious if your level of comfort and confidence increase when shooting in a foreign country and city, because you’re in a group and have a native speaker with you? I remember being in China, Thailand and Singapore and not really being that comfortable shooting in the markets, possibly because I was alone and didn’t speak or understand the language.

    1. really good observation because i think you’re onto something. conversely, i find some photographers feel more comfortable in foreign spaces because of the “i’ll never see them again” mentality. i’m more like you, i like for people to feel my presence and to possibly even chat with me. that’s hard when you’re alone in a country where you don’t speak the language.

  7. wait wait wait. you’re in southeast asia? does that mean you’re going to Bangkok next??? :DDDDDDDDDDD

  8. Not gunna lie i would be way to nervous to shoot there lol but love the vibe of the market

  9. Oh my gosh, there are great shots everywhere you turn. Love your videos. Your finished shots are all amazing

  10. I was wondering when you guys were going to plunge into SE Asia’s great market countries: Viet Nam, Cambodia, and Thailand. I just love wandering these markets full of colour and fascinating people.
