Thanks for the video I just got a Go pro 11 gave me a good idea if I should get this package. Although like you said the protective housing isn’t worth it I did get the gro pro version
Highly recommend buying official GoPro mounts unless you have no idea what mounts you like for what youโre going to capture, this video does not express how low quality these bundles actually are. So if youโre a beginner this kit is good if you want to learn what mounts you like making your moneys worth when you buy the quality GoPro version (as one comment stated). I would not trust a $400 camera on something that costed a couple cents to manufacture.
I bought one of these kits a while back. It was the Neewer 50-1 and cost something like $30-$35. Overall the quality is pretty low, but what these kits are good for is giving the user a broad experience with different mounts, accessories and other GoPro add-ons. It helped me to see what I really liked (ex: Head mount vs. chest mount). Then once you determine the 2-3 things you really like you can invest in more quality products from GoPro, SNAP mount, etcโฆ
I bought the same kit as you a while back and my pieces all broke within 2 weeks of light use
Bought a similar kit years ago. Its basically junk but Ive used alot of it with random one time shots. No sense spending alot if your not using regularly.

Tnks, about year ago I wached your video and bought SeaSucker 4.5″ Vacuum Mount- its awesome. I drived about 1000 km with it on out side my car and it never falled. My longest drive was about 700 km and still ok. Now I use Insta 360 1 inch with it
Just save your sanity and buy the GoPro Official accessories. More expensive but worth it in the long run.
I have the 30$ and it is the perfect starter. the suction mount sucks AFand the selfie stick too. , the tripod if you lock the ballhead with the superlight weight of the GoPro it works better than you think and with a phone mount it works better than expected. For me was real good starter point, as after that, I slowly updated the accessories.

i would probably use the housing not for diving but for other extrems like putting it on a bike for downhilling or when i put my gopro on the outside of the car

14:34 Selfie stick “It works, it will get you by…” Not true. Mount a GoPro on it and usually the first thing that selfie stick will do is rotate so your GoPro is hanging upside down. Selfie sticks without that central groove in them tend to just flop upside down because they are so cheap. So cheapo selfie sticks are actually one of the worst parts that come with those accessory cases.
My suction cup mount (not from a kit) broke recently while I was on a road trip. I am still looking for suggestions for a replacement.
I actually gaff taped the Snapmount lanyard to my dash and stood the Gopro on it. Stayed in place really well.
Dave Maning did another video 2 years called “THIS GOPRO MOUNT SUCKS!!! And I Love It” and he looked at a “SeaSucker 4.5″ pump mount” used for mounting bikes, but had a tripod 3/4″ mount which I see is $62… the nice thing is the pump is also a pressure indicator, so you can see if it losing a seal and “tighten it up again.” I see Ulanzi has more camera specific version for $50… that’s what I would go for today (caveat I haven’t personally tried it).
(I have the PGYTech version in the other video… it’s ok, it stays on for a few weeks/months… but does fall off occasionally).

Entertaining as always! If one is using a GoPro along with other cameras, I will never understanding ever using GoPro mounting hardware. I’ve replaced my GoPro feet with 1/4-20 adapters so all camera use the same mounting system (falcam) – I noticed you slipped one in there, too.

Mediamark sold out their own Gopro 50 in 1 accessories kit a couple of weeks ago for $10
was about the same quality as these. However, some accessories looked like they belonged on the gopro 4.
I’ve Been Using the old Thumb screws all Winter and I haven’t had a problem with them. I tried to torque screws but they don’t fit the best with the media mod.
