Beautiful and inspiring ❤
Thanks. We were there, recently, in Arles and it was inspiring so put it definitely on your list (and bring a camera of course). Can I carefully ask you to consider a little less fast, I realy think it will improve your interesting video’s here.
I meant speak a little less fast……. (sorry)
Great stuff this week. Thanks. By all means put Arles on your list. Last year’s Saul Leiter and Diane Arbus shows, and this year’s Mary Ellen Mark and Lee Friedlander shows were epic.
I love these videos! So much inspiration! Appreciate it Ted and everyone who shares their work.
Thanks for the feature ! Really appreciate the compliments
Of course!!! I LOVE the book!
The colors look great on my screen.
A small picky point. French, so Arles is pronounced “Arle”.
I loved seeing Étienne’s Arles Déchirée featured in this video. There’s something so captivating about how he captures the streets of Arles as they change, with his photos on the walls of the city peeling away and aging over time. It really feels like time itself becomes part of the artwork. It’s always inspiring to see how artists like Étienne use photography to explore that connection between art and the urban environment. I also enjoyed seeing all the other zines and photobooks in the video – each one bringing its own unique story and perspective. Congratulations to all featured photographers!
Wow I’m in love with that typographic photography book! Amazing work
REALLY enjoy these videos. Having discovered your channel just a while back, i am catching up on all the zine/book reviews at the rate of a couple a night and learning a ton. Thank you from a fellow Fort Worthian!
This was great thank you.
This segment seemed like you were in a hurry. Only showed close up on last zine.
Slow down.

wow, thank you so much for sharing my work, I really appreciate it, greetings from Germany, Markus🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for sharing Markus!!!
Hi Ted, thank you so much for taking the time to review “Arles déchirée”.
I’m very touched that it can talk to you in such a positive way.
During summer 2024, I sold hundreds of copies in my space in Arles and continued to learn about this object throughout my discussions with the clients.
Beside the interest for the images themselfs, the journal is a great reminder of their strolling in the streets of Arles, looking at the posters on the walls.
Many of them plan to use the journal in their own collage projects, or plan to paste the pages on their home walls.
I myself pasted the journal pages in the streets of Arles this summer.
The image loop / mise en abyme continues!
Best,
Etienne
Etienne! Thank you so much. It’s a fabulous idea and project – I really enjoyed it!
