*I’m honestly impressed by the time and effort you put into these videos, Keep it up!*
    🙂

  2. Absolutely love it! Brings me back to the days of DigitalRev especially the intro music.

    1. Sean Tucker has a great video on how to do a basic home studio setup.

And there are also some great videos made by other people on how to do bounce indoor flash for events and stuff.

  3. Love these how to vids, with you and Lok with the old Digitalrev music. Nostalgic. keep em coming 😀

  4. All that’s missing is the 5d MkII with the 24-70 hahaha. Thanks for that guys.

  5. This reminds me of the old style of Lok and Kai videos – AND THAT IS A GREAT THING!

  6. Very cool video. Very helpfull to understand flash beter. /i just with you could have overlaid the camera and flash setings over the photos in the video 🙂 It would be helpfull to pause the video over each photo and be able to read the settings used.

  7. Ahh yes, I can feel the DigitalRev vibes again and seems like you two are enjoying yourselves 🙂

  8. Flash power isn’t fake, but it could more accurately be called flash energy.

The thing that annoys me most about it is that it isn’t measure in any sort of standard way across different equipment. I could have lenses and cameras from completely different systems but ISO 200, 1/500s, and f/8 mean the same thing on all of them, and should give similar exposure in similar conditions. But flash power 1 or 1/2 is relative to the maximum of the particular flash. Would seem easier if they used an absolute number measured in watt-seconds (aka joules) or something instead of a fraction with no unit.

  9. I miss those DigitalRev days, so much to explore in the digital camera world.

  10. Kai where did you get the coveralls? Same color as yours can I order them someplace online? Cool vid!

  11. Agree with all the comments! Kai and Lok you might wanna consider yourselves photographer comedian duo. The photography is great of course but we love your comedy + chemistry even more!
