  1. First comment Kai…Thanks for all the videos and the reviews.Hello from athens greece

  2. Would this be a good first full-frame camera or should one save up more for the A7 iv?

    1. Depends on what do you want to do with it and if you really need full frame.

    2. Look for the best lens you would ever want before you get the camera body and see if they are a good match. There are many videos on this channel and others that say the same thing, I.e. donโ€™t put all your budget in the body! I personally got a Nikon z5 (full frame for $1000) and put zeiss and Leica lenses on it, but if you want good video and donโ€™t need weather sealing Iโ€™d get the canon r8 with a stabilised canon pro lens

    3. Absolutely as long as you arenโ€™t shooting events that may require a second sd card slot for backing up the images

    4. .. I’d say this is in fact an ideal first full frame ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜….. I know this because my first full frame was the Sony a7 when they first came out back in the day, if you’ll believe I’m that old ..๐Ÿฅธ๐Ÿ˜….. not only that, but this is going to my *next* full frame..! .. well, either this or the a7cR .. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿ˜…

  3. It was sponsored by squarespace but not sponsored by Sony? Notice how he doesn’t mention how it’s a free camera. ๐Ÿ˜‚ He doesn’t mention who paid for him to go to the Sony event to get the camera and all the travel and lodging costs ๐Ÿ˜‚.

    1. The world is a conspiracy theory to those too dim to understand the obvious. So take it from someone who used to be an influencer in the A-list world: his take on the camera is worth far far far more than the pittance of travel costs or camera loan he got from whomever. They don’t pay them, vendors rarely give anything away without it being a serious upside for them i.e. priceless review space to confirmed influencers.

    2. @GearGeek PDX A-list influencer? That’s like saying you’re the top janitor of a school. Sure, you’re the best in your field of nobodies but you’re still a janitor. I hope that you’re not putting that on your Lyft driver application resume ๐Ÿ˜‚.

  4. Why do I suddenly want a total zero mortal combat character? His finisher must involve a selfie

  5. isn’t it the same tech as the 6700, but the 6700 has better FPS in 4K mode. Hope all is well.

  6. Probably about time Sony swap to improving their stabilisation instead of colour ๐Ÿ™ˆ The contrast to the S5II is quite dramatic on all their recent models.

  7. No matter how many stops of stabilisation Sony claims to have, every Song camera vlog test I see looks the same: shaky and bad

  8. “Entry level?” It’s full frame for people who like the “rangefinder” body shape as opposed to the SLR body shape. I prefer the smaller form factor.

  9. Improved colour and still not a patch on the 18 year old 5D! I’m probably just old now but I haven’t been excited about a camera since the D500. Will always love and watch Kai and Lok’s videos though ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜

  10. Imagine the next Tony Northrup video “Hi, I’m Tony Northrup and I have a huge give away for my community: a Sony A7C II body cap and a Sony NP-FZ100 battery!”
