  1. It’s a gray Tribble, very rare for this part of the galaxy, that’s The Trouble with Tribbles.

    1. I wish. Sony doesn’t even let reviewers keep products. Bought this from B&H my friend

  2. It’s a good mic for vlogging, but only for vlogging. Rode NTG is more versatile in many situations. Also, it sounds much better

    1. Yeah, I think that’s probably the case. Like I mentioned at the end, the NTG is doing less digital processing on board and for professional applications, you pretty much want your camera and mic doing as little processing as possible so you can control everything in post

    1. Crazy how good considering the size! The whole no batteries, no cables, and adjustable polar patter thing has me sold!

    1. Exactly my take away. The Sony mic sounds awesome, no batteries, no cables, and I can control my polar pattern?! Easy sell for me

  3. I have the ECM-B1M and it’s great too. I do like the idea of an even smaller microphone tho. The best parts of these mics are no cables and auto levels.

    1. Both super useful! The no batteries thing is big for me since I’ve been charging mics for the past many years🙌

  4. Only useful if using with a Sony camera. Rode far more versatile

  5. Fun fact, they also just released a RODE WIRELESS GO PRO competitor as well! Once again, plugs into the MIS, but then gives you a TX module to toss on talent or yourself when you need it. Yes the price is higher in comparison, and you probably get less stuff than the RODE Pro kit, but again, MIS compatible. Which is huuuuge.

  6. Sony sounds great , would like to see how well it works in windier conditions tho 👍

  7. Would you grab a canon eos r5 camera to do a 4K and an 8K video difference and a GoPro hero 12 black 5.3K quality test?
