Serge when I used to follow you, your style was to underexpose the shadows. I still use the Canon 5DSR. However. I expose to the right in the field and then lower the exposure in LR and I don’t have noise in the shadows…. I believe that Canon does have a dynamic range issue but using the histogram gets around it.
