Platinum/Palladium is an alternative printing procedure developed in the late 1800's. Still used today it is considered one of the more long lasting art procedures for photographic printing. It is a monochrome procedure, where the emulsion is painted on to a paper surface and exposed to UV light. Prints can be developed without needing to utilize a "dark room".
