Really enjoyable vlog, and I know exactly what you mean about that almost spa-like quality to the more rural areas. Have you been to the Kawaguchi Go area around Mount Fuji – it really has that vibe. Love that location you visited with the cats, I’ve never seen it before so will definitely check it out on my next trip there! PS – for anyone wondering about masks, they’re commonly worn around SE Asia, long before covid.
We were staying an Airbnb that is close to the Cat shrine last week. That neighborhood is just nice and streets are just a treasure trove to do street photography a mix of traditional and modern.
What cameras did you guys use? Auto focus was really clutch. I was in Japan for 2 weeks and it was fun! I never did feel too comfortable to bring out my own camera in the subways. People definitely begin to stare lol. Great vlog!

My friend had that robot, it would help you play games by holding down buttons on the controller to open doors or obstacles. If I remember correctly it had spinning tops that would hold down the buttons, giving enough time until they stopped spinning. More vids like this!
