  1. The issue with this kind of power stations is that u cant carry these in flights πŸ₯²

    1. Charging batteries with batteries is a dumb idea. My motorcycle is a water-cooled, drone battery charging station.

    2. @@riparianlife97701 electricity is the same in anyform be it portable power stations or household . You’re getting AC power here ,so what’s the issue ?

    3. @@Visualographer_ Any rented car, or my motorcycle, can be used to easily charge batteries, and you’re already using it to get around. I did a photography trip along the Guatemala border, and charged my batteries off the cigarette lighter in the combis I was traveling in.

    4. @@Visualographer_electricity is not the same in any form. The requirements for usage of AC versus DC matters, and the charging equipment and charging time differs. AC voltage over a bridge charges DC faster. Battery to battery charging is slow, decreases the life of both batteries simultaneously and solar charging is really slow and can only get faster with a lot of invested money.
AC power from DC is very inefficient, good in a pinch but has low amperage.
You can get similar performance from a UPS battery backup, but a person would look silly carrying it around.

  2. I’m hoping that airlines start to up the allowable size that you can take on planes. We’ll probably never get up to these sizes, but maybe some thing in the 300-400Wh range would be great!

    1. When you say “Trusted Brand” what do you mean? Is Anker, EcoFlow, or the other companies not to be trusted? What about the US Ban many years ago for DJI products, is this not affected?

  3. Charging batteries with batteries is a dumb idea. My motorcycle is a water-cooled charging station.

    1. @@SpaceCadet4Jesus I have a cigarette lighter in my helmet box, with a 100W, 3-port charger in it.

  4. Huge missed opportunity by not titling this “WATT ACTUALLY MATTERS” πŸ˜‚

  5. “What is one thing we take for granted when we have it but devastated when we don’t?” My wallet, my drivers license/registration/proof of insurance, enough money for a purchase, a full tank, and best yet, my family. So what are we getting at here, you trying to sell us something? πŸ˜…

  6. You said at the beginning you were not sponsored by DJI, then when talking about solar panels at 4,51 minutes you said DJI didn’t send you any solar panels? That means you didn’t;’t order it, as you paid for it with your own money, or is this very simlar to Insta 360 debacle???????

  7. I think the total USB output using both ports simultaneously is 140w or 140w max singley.
While the unit is being charged up, can it simultaneously charge AC and DC plugged in items?
I’d also like to know how easy it is to disassemble to change the batteries.
What is the power conversion efficiency rating?
    It couldn’t run my refrigerator for 48hours, I have a 3,000 watt power station and I won’t get 48hours.

    1. Question – if DJI is banned, will my charger stop working because China is spying on me?πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

  8. While these look amazing what I find particularly annoying is the geographic price difference these manufacturers, and especially DJI impose. The 500w version may be $379 in the US but if you buy the exact same one in the the UK its $583, I really dont get why that happens.

  9. This will be useful in South Africa. We have something they call load shedding…

  10. 0:10 The word is ELECTRIFIED… Our World is more Electrified than before! @DavidManningvlog πŸ˜‚

  11. They look nice, but it looks like the larger one has 20 amp plugs (which is awesome), but the smaller one only has a 15 amp plug? Bummer. I wish the small one had a 20 amp plug. That would make it awesome to take a big power tool out remotely and use it. (like a corded angle grinder, or other tools that just need a bit more ooomffhh)

  12. I think this goes like what I want and more. I work from home, so when power goes out, its moving or not soing a thing. Will this power up a laptop, a modem, and 2 screens? And if so…for how long?

  13. I’m planning to pick up the 500 to keep in the car to charge my Mavic batteries at 150W with the SDC connector for when I need a quick charge. I’ll just leave it to trickle charge off the 12V. Looking forward to this.
