Dramatic Urban Portraits with a Small Footprint

Assistants are absolutely overrated! Just joking. Assistants are incredibly useful throughout photoshoots, but what if they're not readily available or out of your spending plan? Who's going to hold the lights? Well … You!

Shooting portraits on your own using flash is not just workable, however the process is not much different from any other setup. In this video, Pye strolls through how to record dramatic portraits completely by yourself using Profoto's brand-new Clic softbox and A2 Off-Camera Flash combo.

  1. Another excellent video Pye. Shame we don’t have easy access to Pro Foto equipment over here in the U.K., but shooting on location, I feel now i’ve got down to a perfect kit, with a pop out softbox, but using the AD100 Pro or V1 from Godox as my flash. Now, I just need to get a nice handle liek the one you’re using in the shoot, and I’ll be happy. looking forward to the next video.
