  1. Wow, I was just searching for what you said. Thanks a lot. I’m a new photographer. Should I buy an 18-24 lens, or should I just stick with my 24-70 lens?

    1. Depends on what you shoot. 12-24 is too wide for street imo, perfect for landscape and real estate. 24-70 is plenty enough for everything.

    2. 18-24? Is that new? I thought there was the 16-25g sigma 16-28 and tamron 17-28 for that range

    3. My recommendation is to stick with the 24-70. Its my fav, though I rarely use it for my street photography work. That said, there are two factors at play here: 1. Are you shooting with a crop sensor camera or a full frame one. Crop sensor camera are typically 1.5-1.6x the focal length so, for example, a 18-35 lens would be provide a 28-56mm field of view (@1.6x). 2. The type of (street) photography you are inclined to take. I lean into people/candids so I prefer lenses on the mid to long end. If you’re doing more scenic/environmental or architectural stuff, you may prefer lenses on the wider end. HTH

  2. After this video, my boyfriend is convinced we can do our own comedy show. I think it’s worth a shot✨

  3. Interesting the last two points, were shun by an know it all on flickr, many years ago. I liked the reflective shots. Thank for the tips.

  4. amazing tips. especially for someone who’s starting with photography like me… thanks PTL!!!
